Topher has secured the contract to provide security for the TV compound and on-site studios for the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon, Ayrshire, July 10 – 17. The event is managed by European Tour productions on behalf of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews.

Topher was chosen on the strength of its long standing relationship with European Tours, and the quality of its security provision at several other events, particularly at the 2014 Ryder Cup. Topher personnel will be on site at Royal Troon for three weeks spanning The Open, keeping the media compound and studios secure during the build, event and de-rig.

Topher will use its newly refurbished and freshly painted double-decker bus as a mobile base of operations at Royal Troon, where it will provide a canteen and accommodation for the 15 Topher security officer at the event.
